By default, every 14 days when you launch Forecast Pro it will connect to our web site to check if a patch or a newer version of the product is available. This feature allows you to automatically check whether an update is available on our web site without visiting it. If an update is found, Forecast Pro displays a notification message.

[TRAC] To automatically update, simply click the Update Automatically button and follow the instructions you will see on screen. Forecast Pro will close, download the update, apply the update and restart.

Alternatively, you can download the newer version manually. Clicking the Update Manually button will take you to the updates page on Forecast Pro’s website. From here, you may download and install the update by simply closing all instances of Forecast Pro and double-clicking on the downloaded file. Please note that you will need administrator privileges to install the update manually.

To be reminded about the update later, select the preferred delay (default is 14 days) and click the Remind me Later button.

Notes

• To disable automatic updates, select Advanced on the Options dialog (on the Home tab) and uncheck “Enable Omaha Automatic Software Updates.” You will be able to update manually, but you will need administrator rights to do so.
• At any time, you can check for available updates manually by clicking the Check for Updates icon on the Help Tab.
