Marked content is Forecast Pro TRAC only
The Reports tab provides access to all Forecast Pro Views. Details for each of these views are described in the Forecast Pro Views chapter.
Graphs: Click on the Graph icon to open and close a Graph view for the item selected in the Navigator. Up to four additional graphs may be added to the view window by selecting Add Graph on the Graph icon drop-down. Finally, you may select Diagnostics on the Graph icon drop-down to open the Diagnostics view.
Overrides: The Override icon opens and closes the Override view, which allows you to adjust forecasts for the item selected in the Navigator.
Forecast Report: The Forecast Report icon opens and closes the Forecast Report. The Forecast Report view displays the forecasting model, within-sample statistics, historic data and forecasts for the selected item.
[TRAC] Forecast Tracking: Clicking on the Forecast Tracking icon opens the Tracking Report view for the selected item. Note that Forecast Tracking is only available if there are archived forecasts (forecasts generated in prior periods). The drop-down on the Forecast Tracking icon allows you to open the Tracking Graph and access the Tracking Report settings.
[TRAC] FVA Report: The FVA Report icon opens the FVA (Forecast Value Add) Report view, an item level view that analyzes the accuracy and “value add” of each step in your forecasting process. The process steps are aligned with the override rows. This report will only display data for the item currently selected in the navigator. The FVA Global Exception Report view is available in the Reports Group. The FVA global view displays the accuracy and value add for multiple items and override rows in your project so that you can understand which overrides worked for which items. Please consult The Forecast Value Add (FVA) View or FVA Global for more details.
Reports Group: The Reports group includes the following:
[TRAC] Exception Reports: There is an icon for opening each of the six Exception Report Views (Forecast vs. History, Forecast vs. Archive, Forecast Accuracy, Waterfall, FVA Global and Custom). The Exception Reports enable you to quickly find cases where your forecast error or some other performance metric has fallen outside of an acceptable range. Exception reporting reduces the need for manual review of your forecasts and allows you to focus on the items where human attention is most needed.
Item Report: The Item Report icon opens and closes the Item Report. Item Reports may contain time series output such as history, forecasts, fitted values and confidence limits as well as statistical output such as the forecasting model specification and summary statistics. The drop-down on the Item Report icon allows you to open the Settings dialog box associated with the Item Report. The functionality of the Item Report is essentially the same as the Numeric Output view, but the Item Report allows you to change the view without impacting the structure of the Numeric Output File.
Outliers: The Outliers icon opens and closes the Outlier Report, a global report that list all outliers identified in the project.
Override Report: The Override Report icon opens and closes the Override Report view which shows all overrides in the project.
Numeric Output: The Numeric Output icon opens your Numeric Output view. Numeric Output Reports can contain time series output such as history, forecasts, fitted values and confidence limits as well as statistical output such as the forecasting model specification and summary statistics. The drop-down on the Numeric Output icon allows you to open the Settings dialog box associated with the Numeric Output. Note that these setting are typically configured for exporting a file with a defined structure, so changing these settings may disrupt your forecasting process. Consult the Numeric Output View and Numeric Output Files for more details.
[TRAC] Mapping Report: The Mapping Report icon opens the Product Mapping Report. This global report tracks all active mapped histories in your project. Please consult The Mapping Report for more details.
